Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief
In 2017 Puerto Rico experienced one of the most powerful hurricanes in recorded history, and less than two years later a prolonged series of seismic events. Hurricane Maria is regarded as the worst natural disaster in recorded history to affect the island, which left many Puerto Ricans without power for over a year and in need of emergency relief. Humanitarian Wave was on the ground within a week post Hurricane Maria organizing and providing much needed emergency relief items such as food, water, medical supplies and solar powered lights. Help us continue to support Puerto Rico in its ongoing recovery from these events.
Friends of Sirena Scholarship
The Friends of Sirena Scholarship fund was created in partnership with Casa de la Sirena Boutique Hotel and its community with the goal of helping girls in the community of Troncones, Mexico achieve high school and college education. This program has supported many young women in their pursuit of high school and higher education.
